The performance index of the plotter
The main performance indicators of the plotter include format size, maximum plotting speed, acceleration, precision, and number of pens. The format size determines the size of the drawing format that can be drawn. Speed and acceleration are related to the speed of drawing, precision affects the quality of drawing, and the number of drawing pens determines the color selectivity of drawing color graphics. Among them, accuracy and speed are two important indicators. Plotters are developing in the direction of high-precision, high-speed drawing.
The plotter consists of a driving motor, a control circuit, an interpolator, a drawing table, a pen holder, and a mechanical transmission. There are many types of plotters. According to their structure and working principle, they are mainly divided into two types: drum plotters and flatbed plotters. Drum type plotter
The built-in microcomputer is connected with the main control computer through the interface, and the main control computer sends out a certain format drawing command code string according to the user's drawing application program. After receiving it, the in-machine microcomputer carries out interpretation, error checking and drawing control. The exchange of information between the internal microcomputer and the main control computer is accomplished through the interface. Implementing drawing means that the in-machine microcomputer controls the drawing pen on the drawing machine to complete certain drawing operations according to the received commands. These include performing interpolation operations, checking out of bounds, checking the syntax of commands, issuing step pulses that control movement in the x and y directions, and current pulses that control the electromagnet of the pen lift.
